There’s no new trailer yet for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Per chief J.J. Abrams at D23, it’s simply not prepared at this point.
The uplifting news: Disney presented new film at the Walt Disney Studios introduction Saturday — and, people, you’re going to monstrosity out.
The sizzle reel, which was appeared in the room just, started with a montage of past Star Wars motion pictures before slicing to film of Rise of Skywalker.
Normally, Disney was not going to clarify, so we’re simply must estimate on what’s going on here. And after that, obviously, discover our for ourselves when the film opens Dec. 20.
We slice to scenes of Rey employing her mark blue lightsaber, and Kylo conveying his, and both of them dueling on what resembles a summary ship, encompassed by sprinkling water.
And afterward, the shot that sent shouts through Hall D23: Rey in Sith mode, in a hooded shroud, holding what has all the earmarks of being Darth Maul’s red twofold bladed lightsaber.
We saw Finn, Rey, and Poe in a bone-dry scene, seeing what resembles camps out there, and shots of boats floating in space. We got a look of Finn and new character Jannah (Naomi Ackie) in a ship, and looks at different characters like C-3PO and (cry) Leia.
